This Is What You’ll Do With Us
The Sales Associate is responsible for developing accurate pricing and selling residential pool repair, renovation, and new construction projects throughout the DMV. The role owns assigned opportunities from initial qualification through customer consultation and property review, scope development, proposal, follow up, signed agreement, deposit, and operational handoff. The successful candidate combines consultative selling, disciplined estimating, strong customer communication, and sound judgment. Pool industry experience is preferred but not required for a candidate with relevant home services or residential project sales experience.
You’ll be a key member of a team responsible for
Lead Qualification and Customer Discovery
Take ownership of assigned opportunities, understand what the homeowner wants, and qualify the fit before the site visit.
Site Evaluation and Scope Development
Walk the property, take accurate measurements, and turn what you find into a clear scope of work.
Pricing and Proposal Preparation
Build disciplined, accurate estimates and proposals for repair, renovation, and new construction projects.
Proposal Presentation and Closing
Present options and tradeoffs, discuss budgets, deposits, and payment schedules, and bring the agreement to signature.
Pipeline Management and Follow Up
Keep the CRM current and follow up consistently so no opportunity goes quiet.
Operational Handoff and Customer Continuity
Hand sold work to the operations and project teams with everything they need, and stay the customer’s point of contact through the transition.

Who We’re Looking For
Required
- Three or more years of successful consultative sales experience in residential services, home improvement, construction, or another customized solution environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing customer discovery, site consultations, estimates or proposals, follow up, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Comfort discussing budgets, pricing, deposits, payment schedules, and project tradeoffs with homeowners.
- Ability to perform measurements and basic financial calculations accurately.
- Consistent CRM, pipeline, documentation, and follow-up discipline.
- Valid driver license and ability to travel to customer properties throughout the DMV.
- Ability to work outdoors and inspect residential properties in varying weather and site conditions.
Preferred
- Pool repair, equipment, renovation, construction, or service experience.
- Sales or estimating experience in remodeling, landscaping, hardscaping, outdoor living, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, restoration, or a related home service.
- Experience developing scopes of work and coordinating sold work with operations or project teams.
- Familiarity with construction plans, permitting, project sequencing, and Jobber, ServiceTitan, or a comparable CRM / field-service platform.
Pool industry experience is preferred but not required. If you’ve sold customized residential projects, we’ll teach you pools.
Compensation Structure
$60,000 to $70,000 base salary plus performance-based commission, with target annual earnings of $90,000+.

- Base salary is based on relevant sales, estimating, construction, and pool-industry experience.

About Beltway Pools
- We bring over three decades of pool industry experience.
- We are the first Genesis Master-certified pool designer and builder in the DMV and specialize in building new custom gunite residential and commercial pools.
- We modernize and update aging pools by replacing worn plaster, tile, and coping, rebuilding dated pool decks, and replacing lighting and circulation equipment.
