Common questions we hear before homeowners get started.
How quickly can you respond to a pool repair request?
We aim to schedule an assessment within the same week for most repair requests. For urgent situations — like a suspected leak that's rapidly losing water or a failed pump in peak season — let us know in your message and we'll do our best to expedite the visit.
What are the most common signs of a pool leak?
The most common indicators include:
- Losing more than ¼ inch of water per day (beyond normal evaporation)
- Needing to add water more than 2–3 times per week
- Wet spots or erosion around the pool structure or equipment pad
- Chemical demand suddenly increases despite regular treatment
- Pool deck heaving, sinking, or cracking near the pool edge
If you're unsure, a simple bucket test can help you rule out evaporation. Our technicians also perform professional pressure testing and leak detection to pinpoint exactly where water is escaping.
Do you service pools you didn't build or previously maintain?
Yes — we service and repair pools regardless of who built them or who currently maintains them. Our technicians work on all makes and models of pool equipment and are familiar with pools of all ages and construction types common in the DMV area.
What types of pool equipment do you repair or replace?
We handle a full range of pool equipment repair and replacement, including:
- Variable-speed and single-speed pool pumps
- Sand, cartridge, and DE filters
- Gas and heat pump pool heaters
- Pool automation and control systems
- LED and fiber optic pool lighting
- Return fittings, skimmers, main drains, and plumbing lines
- Salt chlorine generators (saltwater systems)
If you're not sure whether we can help with a specific issue, just describe it in the form and we'll let you know during the follow-up call.
Can I still use my pool during minor repairs?
It depends on the nature of the repair. Many equipment replacements (like a pump or filter) take a few hours, after which the pool is fully usable. Leak repairs, structural cracks, or plumbing work may require the pool to be drained and taken out of service for a longer period.
We'll give you a clear timeline during the assessment so you can plan accordingly.
Don't Let a Small Problem Become a Big One
No pressure. No commitment. Just an honest conversation about your pool.
